Good morning

Earlier this month, we let you know that some changes were underway at the Global Mission Office.

The three staff who remained working in the office after the departure of the Rev Andrew Bell last week tendered their resignations. This is an amicable decision on their part, after consideration of the uncertainty concerning the future shape of the GMO, including the financial sustainability of the current model. The Rev Stuart Simpson, Kerry Jones and Liz van den Berg will be ensuring a smooth transition of their work before they are farewelled on 23 December. We are very thankful for their service to the Church and to our overseas partners.

The Church remains committed to global mission including support for our overseas partners, and there is no intention of ceasing this work. Any thoughts you might have about the future shape of our global mission work is welcome and can be directed to our AES, the Rev Martin Baker.

Yours in Christ
Emma Keown
